Allen is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with several years of clinical experience. Allen is a caring, professional where a client can feel comfortable expressing whatever concern they may have. Allen will complete a thorough initial assessment on a new client and collaboratively target areas in a client’s life where they struggle and need assistance with their mental health. Allen provides a warm, judgment free environment and works with the patient to help them become the best version of themselves. Allen can offer resources to other specialized services such as ‘talk’ therapy, grief counseling and other treatment modalities to provide the patient with the full complement of services should they need it.

Education:

Allen holds a master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from Concordia University and a post-masters’ Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certificate from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He received an award for excellence in mental health in 2012 from the State University of New York-Buffalo while working towards his undergraduate degree.
