Our Team

Board Certified
Psychiatric-Mental Health
Nurse Practitioner
Office Locations: Elkhorn
Amy discovered her calling in nursing during her very first mental health clinical in nursing school. She considers it a profound honor to be entrusted with helping individuals find the scattered pieces of their lives and gently support them in putting those pieces back together. Much like the Japanese art of Kintsugi, she believes we are stronger and more beautiful because of our struggles, not in spite of them.
She has spent over 15 years working in various acute inpatient settings, with a strong clinical focus on eating disorders, trauma, depression recovery, and substance use disorders.
Amy believes her role is to partner with each person she has the privilege of working with to help define what wellness means to them individually. She approaches care collaboratively, combining thoughtful medication management with therapeutic interventions to support improved daily functioning, achievement of personal goals, and ultimately, a sense of lasting peace.
Education:
Amy received her Associate Degree in Nursing from The Community College of Baltimore County and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University. She later obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
In 2018, she was proud to be one of 50 nurses to receive the Excellence in Nursing Award by The Baltimore Magazine.
