Daizy Liskowitz, M.S., LPC-IT, is a compassionate therapist dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate life’s challenges while building resilience, confidence, and emotional well-being. She believes every individual deserves a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where they can feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.

Her clinical experience includes providing therapy in outpatient clinics, schools, clients’ homes, and community settings. Throughout her career, she has worked collaboratively with individuals and families to develop personalized treatment plans that promote growth, resilience, and long-term success. Daizy has experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD/DDD), allowing her to provide compassionate care tailored to each person’s unique strengths and needs.

Daizy utilizes an integrative, evidence-based approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, play therapy, supportive therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. She believes that therapy is most effective when it is individualized, collaborative, and focused on helping clients develop practical skills while exploring the underlying factors contributing to emotional distress.

She works with individuals experiencing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, PTSD and trauma, OCD, panic disorder, bipolar disorder, substance use concerns, life transitions, self-esteem issues, relationship challenges, stress-related conditions, and eating disorders. Daizy provides care for children ages 5 and older, adolescents, and younger adults.

Daizy is passionate about helping clients recognize their strengths, overcome obstacles, and build healthier, more fulfilling lives. She values creating genuine therapeutic relationships where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered to make lasting positive changes.

EDUCATION:

Daizy earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marquette University, where she specialized in Rehabilitation Counseling. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. During graduate school, she received the Rehabilitation Services Administration Scholarship and was an active member of the Counselor Education and Counseling Psychology Graduate Student Organization.
